Important Considerations During Railway Guardrail Installation

2. If a post is driven too deep, it must not be pulled out to correct the problem. The foundation must be re-compacted before driving it in, or the post position must be adjusted. Care should be taken to control the hammer force when approaching the depth. For railway guardrails, flanges must be installed, and attention must be paid to the proper positioning of the flanges and the elevation of the post tops.
